The Ice Cube, Yorkshire’s coolest wintertime attraction is back in Millennium Square in February with its undercover ice rink, visitor café and a wide range of winter themed rides and attractions.
Organised by Leeds City Council with support from media partners Radio Aire and now in its 18th year, the Ice Cube will be open from Friday 2 February until Sunday 25 February 2018.
Again this year, it will feature an undercover ice rink allowing visitors to enjoy an outdoor skating experience whatever the weather.
In addition to the open air ice rink, the Ice cube will provide a line-up of family friendly attractions including the thrilling North Pole Starflyer, the Ice Jet, the Ice Palace plus the new Ice Slide along with various other winter themed rides for children of all ages.

New for 2018 will be the Penguins Club running every Sunday at 9am, offering parents and children aged 8 and under ice skating sessions in a safe and fun environment. Tickets will be available in January.
A weekly dedicated accessible session is available for wheelchair users and other disabled persons every Thursday morning at 10am.
Four individual tuition slots are available each Saturday morning during the 10am-10.45am skate session and the 11am-11.45am skate session.
Skating Tuition Programme
Alongside general public ice skating there will be an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to hone their skating skills under the watchful gaze of expert coaches. A four-week National Ice Skating Association (NISA) tuition programme aimed at beginners (recommended for skaters up to Skate UK level 4) for ages 5 and above, will be held every Saturday morning by Skate UK qualified skating professionals.
A special ‘first steps to skating’ tuition programme for Leeds schools children will also be available during term time for schools to book.
